March 06 first day in collegetoday is my first day in college. only worked for 6hrs today, but feel extremely tired, prob becoz i did nothing 2day...
my first job for this position is ... write an ad and put it at university for my student to find a biology tutor. it took me 10 mins to write the ad, however i asked my friend to put it in uni for me, coz he is heading there after work.
in addition, I had a chat with 2 teachers, one english and one P.E. The feedback from them for these students are: low english lever, a few are pretty cheeky others are well behaved... something that starts worrying me.
i introduced myself to my students... i dont feel comfortable of standing in front of all of them. even i m wearing white shirt, skirt, high heel boots... try to pretend of being mature. but my way of speaking, my manners... tell them the truth... im still too young inside :) the good thing is... i decide to wear jeans tomorrow. If the wearing doesnt make any difference, there is no point for me to dress up like someone i am actually not.
that is pretty much for my first day...
the week after next week, I will start teaching chinese students ECONOMICS. in next week, i will prob spend most of the time on reviewing economic concepts, and work on a teaching plan.
i feel like im going back to my student life...
March 01 new start in collegeworked at Marcus Evans as sales executive for 3 weeks from today. again something happend... hav to get a new job
next Thursday i will start my new job at a college in internatioanl student department, mainly deal with chinese students. and also will do some teaching and office jobs. in addition, if i can get some students from china, there can be a bonus to this job. however, i havnt finally got this job yet. there is 3 months trial period... hope everything can go smoothly within this time range.
anyway, tell you more when i actually start this job. |
