    nice recipe - Banana Split Muffins

    Banana Split Muffins
    12 Servings    
     INGREDIENTS
    190 g all-purpose flour
    200 g sugar
    100 g miniature semisweet chocolate chips
    60 g chopped walnuts
    5 g baking soda
    6 g salt
    354 g bananas, mashed
    120 ml mayonnaise*
    6 maraschino cherries, halved

    DIRECTIONS
    In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, chocolate chips, walnuts, baking soda and salt. In another
     bowl, combine bananas and mayonnaise. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fill
     greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25
    minutes or until muffins test done. Press a cherry half, cut side down, into the top of
    reach muffin. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
     
    FOOTNOTE
    Reduced-fat or fat-free mayonnaise may not be substituted for regular mayonnaise in this
    recipe.
     
    I made it once. it tastes very nice but too sweet for me. next time, i think half amount of sugar should do me. YUM...
